UNIJOS GRADUATES 47 NEW DOCTORS

The Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Jos has turned out 47new doctors at its 28th Induction Ceremony held at the institution’s Multipurpose Auditorium on Wednesday, April 13.

Taking the oath, the new doctors pledged to obey the rules and regulations guiding the profession as well as maintain a good conduct in the practice.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sonni Tyoden congratulated the new doctors saying the institution is proud to release them as its ambassadors.

He re-affirmed the university’s plan to develop a state-of-the art College of Medical Sciences and new hostels to accommodate students of the faculty at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) at Lamingo.

On his part, Dean, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Professor Nuhu Dakum urged the new doctors to work hard and do good to uplift the image of their Alma mater.

The new doctors represented by Dr Marshol Isaac, noted that their profession is a service to humanity and appreciated their parents and lecturers for contributing to their success.
