Activities marking the Association of Mass Communication Students’ Week which kicked off of Wednesday, June 22 is peaking up climaxing in the dinner and award night slated for Sunday June 27.
The first day of the week tagged “Old School Day” saw students donning various attires, hairstyles and other dressing accessories associated with the past.
The second day which was the “Culture Day” marked the display of the rich cultural endowments of Nigeria as students displayed their cultural attires and dances.
The final of the HOD Cup is to be played on Friday while the week would be rounded off with the dinner and award night.
Meanwhile, a nine-man committee has been inaugurated to conduct elections into the executive of the Association of Mass Communication Students (AMCOMS).
Inaugurating the Committee at a congress meeting of the association recently, Mr. Clement
Gyang urged members to live up to their responsibility and to discharge handle the assignment well by being fair to all aspirants.
He urged members to cooperate with the committee stressing that the quest for leadership should be pursued with dignity and decorum.
The committee which has Mr. Emmanuel Mwarangshak as chairman has two weeks to conduct the elections.
The congress also featured an interactive session between the executive and members of
the association.
