She made the call on August 11, during the students’ thanksgiving service held at the Law Auditorium, Bauchi Road Campus.
Mrs. Piwuna, who was represented by Mrs. Rhoda Jouta said, “Be men and women of uprightness as you climb the ladder to success in your field”.
A Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Solomon Ola spoke on the theme, ‘Stepping into Higher Grounds’.
In his sermon, Pastor Ola noted that, “the foundation to every successful living is righteousness and holiness”, adding, “Believing in God, keeping focused, persistence and prayers will help you overcome challenges”.
The students represented by Samuel Dido, observed that the event was a way to acknowledge the faithfulness of God in helping them complete five years of study in the University.
