As the second semester of the 2011/2012 academic session in the University of Jos comes to an end, students have been advised to prepare adequately for the forth coming examination.
Lecturers of the Department of English gave this advice Wednesday while rounding up courses they have taught the students stressing that no form of examination malpractice will be condoned.
Dr. Amaka Azuike, who took the 200 level students in Creative Writing, expressed satisfaction with what she has given them and expects the students to impress her both in exams and in their understanding of the course. The creative writing class ended with prayers from both Christian and Muslim faithfuls.
In a related development, Dr. Jeff Doki and Gloria Fwangyil who taught the students “Introduction to Nigeria Literature, Drama and Poetry”, rounded up the class with a revision and a test explaining that it is a way of alerting them regarding the examination ahead.
It would be recalled that the University released the general examination timetable early last week with an indication that the exams commences on Tuesday, October 2.
