The National Universities Commission (NUC)is currently on a two-week accreditation visit to the University of Jos.
Six programmes are scheduled for assessment during the visit which started on October 7. The programmes include African Traditional Religion, English/Linguistics and French.
Others are Medical Laboratory Sciences and Science Laboratory Technology scheduled for October 7 and 13 October, while Mass Communication is to take its turn from October 14.
While on the visit, the team for each department is expected to assess the various programmes that will determine the survival of such courses.
Unijos Echoonline gathered that the niversity’s management, led by Professor Hayward Mafuyai and the various departments have been working hard to ensure a hitch free exercise.
