Determined to meet the deadline for the presentation of candidates for the next intake of the Nigerian Law School, the Faculty of Law, University of Jos has commenced examinations for its final year students.
The examination is coming ahead of the general second semester exams following a letter from the law school giving the deadline for the submission of the names of the graduating students.
The Examinations Officer of the faculty, Dr Francis Kwede told Unijos Echo Online that the faculty had to abridge the session for the 500 level students to meet up with the calendar of the Nigerian Law School which resumes on October 2, this year.
He explained that the students were not taken unawares as this is not the first time such is being done for the final year students.
The examination is expected to be concluded and processed ahead of the deadline set by the law school.
It was learnt that graduating students of institutions unable to meet the deadline have to wait for the next academic session.
