The internment was witnessed by a crowd of mourners made up of family, friends, associates from professional bodies, Alma Mata, staff and students of the University of Jos after they conveyed the body of Assoc. Prof. Galadima from the St. Moses Catholic Church Tudun Wada at the conclusion of the requiem mass in his honor.

The representative of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos and Dean of Arts and Humanities, Prof. Iorapuu Tor, at the grave site, said that the Department of Mass Communication, the University of Jos and the entire country will miss Assoc. At the requiem mass, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Kemslong read Matthew 11:25-30 and centered his homily on the importance of time.

‘Time belongs to God. When we mourn the death of a beloved one, it is because such a person’s time has ended but for others, time continues. We shall reap what we do with our time on earth, good or bad. It is time to take Christ seriously and time to make our lives better ’ he said.

There were goodwill messages from the representative of the family, Barrister Andrew Daboer (KSM), the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos, Prof. Sebastian Maimako and the St. Moses Parish Council Chairperson, Mr. Williams Songkat (KSM).

Assoc. Prof. John Galadima was survived by his wife, three sons, a daughter, two sisters and four brothers.
