The Head Teacher of University of Jos Staff Primary School, Mr. Alale Samuel Ajayi, has called for a general renovation of the school structure and facilities.
He made the during an exclusive interview session with UniJos Echo in his office recently.
Alale who lamented the sorry state of the school building and said that the structures and facilities are weak and needs to be given some face lift.
“We have written and appealed to the proprietors to come to the rescue. We noticed recently that the walls of the school is washed by water and it could fall if nothing is done immediately. The National Universities Commission Accreditation Panel was here few weeks ago, they noticed it and complained about the lack of an in-built toilet facility”.
He added that the attention of Physical Facility Unit was called and they were here to see things for themselves.
Mr. Alale pleaded with the University authorities quickly step in and save the situation and he expressed confidence that the school can be a model to other primary schools in the State if it is given the much needed attention it requires.
