Smartphones are a social phenomenon, not merely a technological wonder. No wonder we spend so much money, time and energy on them, and ignore most other events occurring around us and around the world.
One can live without family but not without smartphones hahahah…….Come with us as we explore how many hours University of Jos students spend on their Smartphones daily…

Yes, I do. This is really funny because I spend like 20 hours on my phone daily. Yes, that’s because I use my phone for everything. I am always on my phone. I use it for my business, posting and replying to customers. I really don’t have any screen time.

Of course I do. I really can’t estimate the hours I spend on my phone. But I think I use it for five hours or more everyday. For instance just this morning I already spent two hours on my phone and the day is just starting. I spend quite a lot of time on my phone.

Yes, I do. It depends. Most times, I use it in reading books online, especially academic books. And if I am going to read, I should be on my phone for about 5-6 hours. Sometimes, it is more than 6 hours as it depends on how bulky what I am reading is.

Yes, I do. I spend more than 23 hours on my smartphone. I am constantly on my phone because my phone seems like the closest friend I have . Even when I am in class, I use my phone sometimes, especially when I want to know more about what the lecturer is not saying.
