How to Apply for the IJMB Programme for the 2024/2025 Session at the University of Jos

The University of Jos has officially opened the application process for the IJMB Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session. This programme, a Non-NUC Funded initiative, offers opportunities for students in Sciences, Social Sciences, and Arts disciplines to gain university admission even if they scored below the standard cut-off points.

Entry Requirements:

Sciences: Candidates must have five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE or equivalent. Required subjects include Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

Social Sciences/Arts: Candidates must have five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in subjects such as English Language, Government, Economics, Geography, CRS, IRS, Arabic, English Literature, History, Marketing, Civic Education, etc.

Application Process:

The application forms are available online from May 7th to June 14th, 2024. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to apply:

  1. Visit the University of Jos Website

– Go to www.unijos.edu.ng

  1. Navigate to the IJMB Section

– Hover over the Programme menu and click on IJMB.

  1. Register an Account

– Fill out the registration form using a valid personal email and a memorable password.

  1. Select Your Programme

– Choose from IJMB Science, Arts, or Social Sciences and click on Register.

  1. Activate Your Account

– An activation link will be sent to your email. Click the link to activate your account on the students’ portal.

  1. Proceed to Payment

– Once your account is activated, proceed to the payment portal. The application form costs N15,000 (fifteen thousand naira only).
